THEO TOBIASSE

Theo Tobiasse (1927 - )
Theo Tobiasse was born in Jaffa (today Israel). His parents moved to Paris shortly thereafter. After surviving WWII in hiding, he went on to master his creative expression through painting. He has worked in many other mediums besides oil painting: etching, lithography, watercolor, pastel, sculpture and tapestry. His vibrant use of color and ethnic subject matter make his work discernable and highly collectible. His work is represented in galleries and museums worldwide.
